Introduction

Mrs Thorn is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) at Christ Church Academy, where she is responsible for overseeing the provision and support for students with additional learning needs. She works closely with staff, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure that every pupil receives the appropriate support to reach their full potential. Mrs Thorn is supported in her role by Mrs Farnell, who is the Deputy SENCo, assisting in the co-ordination of interventions, assessments, and the day-to-day management of the school’s SEND provision.  It is hoped that all children at our school will meet their potential, if not exceed it.
